Hello welcome. Today Day 5 is the busiest day in these games. A total of 62 (62!) Gold medals can be won in 17 sports. We’re already two behind – the first male and female PTWC triathlons. We will talk about these races in more detail shortly. But for now, with the courtesy of my colleague Martin Belam, there are other items on the agenda today.

All events are listed here in local Tokyo time. Add 1 hour for Sydney, subtract 8 hours for Leeds, subtract 13 hours for New York, and subtract 16 hours for San Francisco.

  • 6.30 a.m. When 8:30 am triathlon – This is another early departure in Tokyo for paratriathletes. There are four races today with men and women competing separately in the PTWC and PTS5 categories. ??
  • 8:30 am-7:30pm Wheelchair fencing – On Sunday, there will be a foil competition by men’s and women’s teams. The medal match starts at 5.30 p.m. 🥇
  • 9 am-7:30pm 5-player soccer soccer – On the first day of the event, there will be a four-man qualifying group match starting with a host with France.
  • 9 a.m. to 10:44 a.m. When 5 pm-7pm 32h Swimming – Swimming never stops and 13 gold medals will be offered in the pool on Sunday
  • Boat from 9:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. – The first medal at the Sea Forest Waterway will come on Sunday. Two of PR1 pairs, men and women, two of PR2 mixed pairs, two of PR3 mixed pairs have finals 🥇
  • 9:30 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. When 7:00 p.m. to 10:02 p.m. Athletics – Another busy Sunday, especially in the evening sessions, there will be nine finals on the track 🥇
  • 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. When 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Table tennis – There are 8 singles finals throughout the day 🥇
  • 11:00 am Wheelchair tennis – The schedule is back and we will play another day at Ariake Tennis Park – we will qualify for the women’s doubles quarter-finals and the double quadriceps semi-finals.
  • 2:00 p.m. When Wheelchair rugby at 6 p.m. – First the match for the Australian and Japanese bronze medals, then the finals for the American and British gold medals 🥇
  • 4:30 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. Judo – Five gold medals will be offered in the evening session 🥇
  • Horse riding at 6 p.m. – It’s a musical dressage event and the Grade IV gold medal competition starts at 19:32 🥇
  • 7:36 p.m. – 7:56 p.m. Archery – The tournament will run all day, but on the evening of Yumenoshima Final Field there will be a gold medal match after the mixed archery bronze competition 🥇
