TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs Police installed a criminal tape and searched a remote area of ​​Teller County on Friday night. 11 News was on the search site believed to be linked to a missing Colorado Springs woman.

Police announced earlier today that they are looking for Jepsy Kallungi’s remains. 11 News chose not to disclose the exact location of the research site at the request of investigators at the scene. Jepsy was first reported missing in 2019 and her husband, Dane Kallungi, was arrested last month. Dane is suspected of murdering Jepsy. According to the arrest documents, Dane called his ex-wife and admitted to killing Jepsy. The affidavit goes on to say that the ex-wife went to the police and agreed to tape a phone call with Dane, in which he again admitted to killing Jepsy and burying his body somewhere in the county. by Teller.
