Moon Knight has been officially unveiled to the public and more and more details are being released about the series. The series is expected to feature the characters’ multiple personalities, including Marc Spector, who is Moon Knight, and Mr. Knight. Moon Knight wears an all-white cape with a hood and cape, while Mr. Knight wears an all-white costume with the crescent moon mask. Speaking to Collider, director Mohamed Diab reveals exactly why the character needed two separate costumes.

“Ironically, we started with Steven having Moon Knight and Marc having Mr. Knight, ironically, but that’s one of the best things about taking your time and developing things. You start realizing no, no, no, this suit is for this guy. It’s what works for them. And we realize what the logic is,” Diab told the outlet. “The logic should be that each of them inspires their costume. So the costume is inspired by who you are, or what you like, or what your imagination of a costume is. That’s why Steven, who is completely away from the world of superheroes its cool It’s when they tell him summon the suit it’s a suit It’s almost an Armani suit So it made sense But I loved that he had two suits and the one we worked on even more was the Moon Knight suit.

“I love how different it is from anything we’ve seen before in any superhero. But I think it says a lot about the story. You can look at the costume and dissect it, you can see the crescent in his, which he’s shooting. And it’s a weapon. You see how he’s mummified and the cape and the weapons, and you see the hieroglyphics on him. It’s just such an interesting thing And on the other hand, as a director, I was much more scared of Mr. Knight’s suit because a white suit like that could look so bad on camera. and it might be weird. But ironically, the moment Oscar stepped in, we felt…it’s very cool. And we’re actually trying to think of times that we can expand it even further.” the Moon Knight Helmer added.

Marvel Studios and Disney+ describe the series as: “Moon Knight follows mild-mannered gift shop clerk Steven Grant, who is plagued by power outages and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge on them, they must navigate their complex identities while immersed in a deadly mystery among the mighty gods of Egypt.” Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight is set to release on Disney+ on March 30, 2022.
